Unfortunately, I was from a broken home, as many are. My Dad left a hole in the heart of my Mom, siblings and myself when he left in 1970. This poem and artwork explores the loss of that event and my search for something greater. This was the first time in my life I had put imagery and poetry together, it was a breakthrough project for me.
